Kapii is a tiny application that scans any product with a barcode and allows you to add useful information so other people can see it.
The idea started when I went to the Mall to buy a teapot, there was a nice metal teapot in the display in HomeCenter (Bahrain). The cups were flashy colorful so I bought it. After a week from usage, I started to get rusty taste on the tea only to find that that pot went rusty although it clearly says stainless steel. When I went back I found out that people were still buying this product just for its look. I remember thinking I wish there is a way to tell all those people that this product is bad stay AWAY, I could stay there and tell one by one, or I could create the means of communication to help them. Hence Kapii was born.
Use Kapii to scan the barcode of that teapot, snap a photo of it and just give it a one star and write whatever you don't like about it. People who want to see the details of the product will use Kapii to scan them and see others reviews. Anyone can just scan almost anything with a barcode and write about it so the next person who scans it will see these reviews.
